EducateNKY has named Kim Caniff its strategic support coordinator, adding an experienced communications and community engagement professional to support the organization’s work on behalf of Northern Kentucky children and families.
In the role, Caniff will help coordinate organizational priorities, strengthen connections with community partners and support initiatives designed to improve outcomes for children across the region.

“Kim brings the combination of communications expertise and relationship-building ability that this work demands,” said Cheye Calvo, president and CEO of EducateNKY. “Our progress depends on bringing people together around shared goals and turning strong ideas into meaningful action. Kim will help us strengthen those connections and move our work forward.”
Caniff brings to the role experience in communications, public outreach, community engagement, administration and wellness. Most recently, she served as communications and public outreach coordinator for Campbell County Government, where she led communications and social media efforts and connected residents with county initiatives, services and resources.
Before joining Campbell County, Caniff spent three years at Newport on the Levee supporting operations and community events. The role provided extensive experience working with businesses, community partners and members of the public. She has also worked in the wellness industry throughout Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
Across those roles, Caniff developed a strong ability to manage projects, build relationships and help organizations engage effectively with the communities they serve. Her move to EducateNKY reflects a deliberate step toward nonprofit and mission-driven work.
“I’m excited to join EducateNKY and to have the opportunity to work alongside people who care deeply about our children, families and communities,” Caniff said. “I’m looking forward to learning from our partners and helping connect people and ideas in ways that move our region forward. It’s a privilege to be part of this work, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to EducateNKY’s mission.”
