The Northern Kentucky Education Council will hold its Fall Convening on October 27, engaging those who want to strengthen Northern Kentucky’s education pipeline.
The Fall Convening brings togethr regional, state, business and community leaders, teachers, education administrators for conversations around student readiness, postsecondary success, careers, student empowerment for thriving in college and career workforce, and more.
This year’s convening on October 27, 9-11:30 a.m. at Ignite Institute, will be reviewing regional education and workforce data and identifying the most significant barriers, opportunities, and collaborative actions to improve student outcomes.
Featured guest speaker will be Mike Cline, state Representative, House Primary and Secondary Education Committee Vice Chair, on “From the Region to State House: Partnerships Strategies that Drive Impact.”

• Regional Spotlight by the Numbers, Postsecondary Readiness, College-Going Trends, Dual Credit Participation, Credential Attainment, Workforce Trends, Talent Pipeline Indicators.
• NKCES Scorecard Update – Key Regional Education Indicators and Progress Measures.
• How we can better connect students to college, credentials, and meaningful careers? Key opportunities and practical next steps for continued collaboration.
