“We are thrilled with the response to this year’s auction and grateful to everyone who participated,” said ABC Commissioner Scotty Tracy. “Turning confiscated bourbon into more than $21,000 for alcohol education is a win for Kentucky youth.”

The auction featured bourbons confiscated through closed criminal investigations conducted by ABC. In 2024, state law changed to allow ABC to sell confiscated alcoholic beverages through public auction. Previously the evidence had to be destroyed.

The item with the highest bid was a collection of four EH Taylor bourbons including Small Batch, Single Barrel, Barrel Proof and Sour Mash that sold for $8,001.
