Northern Kentucky Chapter of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth and the Center for Great Neighborhoods of Covington have invited candidates running for Covington City Council, Kenton County Fiscal Court, or seeking to represent Kenton County in the Kentucky General Assembly to a meet and greet with voters September 26.
These events are open to the public, and are an opportunity for residents across Northern Kentucky to talk with their elected officials in a more intimate environment. The events will allow community members to meet with those seeking to represent them about the issues they care about without having to take time off work or school, and to do it in a more casual setting than a debate or forum.
The meet and greet will take place from 1-3 p.m. at the Center for Great Neighborhoods offices at the Hellmann Creative Center, located at 321 MLK Boulevard/W. 12th Street in Covington.
Candidates for different offices will have nametags, and there will be space given to candidates to bring and leave literature.
The event will have a brief introduction from the groups responsible, and Kentuckians For The Commonwealth members will be on hand to help people check and update attendees voter registration.
Those wishing to RSVP or stay up to date on all KFTC events can visit kftc.org/events.
